Another really great Italian restaurant is in Whitestone:

Villagio
150-07 14th Road
Whitestone, NY 11357
(718) 747-1111
www.villaggio-ristorante.com

It's a very small restaurant but the food is SO good and the portins are big, and it's easy on your wallet. Make reservations because it gets busy.

I was just going to recommend parkside, the food is amazing. The only thing is you have to make reservations a few weeks in advance.

Also, Parkside NEVER rushes you out. I've had 3 hour dinners there. I love that they let you sit and enjoy everything.
