My 25th birthday is coming up in just over a month and I want to get my friends together to celebrate. I'm not a big bar/club person so I'm not quite sure where to go. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to go on a Saturday night either on LI or NYC? I don't want anything too $$$ (I went out for a friends birthday in the city and spent $40 for cover and open bar and I don't want to spend that much!) TIA!!!

Re: NWR: Need a place for my Birthday!
hmmm.... maybe a comedy club or a karaoke bar? i went to this place in NYC called don't tell momma's in the restaurant district. it's kind of a karaoke bar, but there are professionals (aka people who didn't quite make it to broadway) who sing and its a really good time. they're pretty small, and i don't know if they take reservations or not.
good luck and happy 25th!!

Lips is a fun drag queen restaurant! You can do dinner for around $30 and get a show out of it!

I totally agree with LIPS!!! There is another one that I can't think of the name. What about the wineries for the day or maybe a spa party?

There are these really cool places where you can go and sit and it looks like a camp ground but its inside a place. They have Smores and stuff like that and you can bring games. Idk what you are looking for but I heard it is cool. I can't remeber the name but I know it starts with a Z. There are a few diff. places like this.
Fondue is always good too!

we're going to the city Friday for a friends birthday. We're going to Carmine's... it's an italian family style restaurant so we can all have some of everything and we're gonna see a show... whatever's on the Tix booth.
