one easy thing to do is dress up as a person from the 80's -- everyone has some stuff hidden in the back of their closet that would work! then crimp and tease your hair, put on pink lipstick and blue eyeshadow and you are ready to go!

just be careful bc sometimes it costs more to do this for some reason. DH did this last year and he had most stuff at home but then he had to buy some things, it came out to about the same that i paid for a store bought costume. MANY are $35-40
One time this girl was 'miss white trash' it was funny actually. SHe used some gown she had at home, made her own sash and had one of those $5 plastic tiaras.

You can go as Jamie Lynn Spears!! lol Make a pregnant belly: Get a pillow case and fill it with some newspaper so that it rounds out , or find something around the house (old t-shirts) , and form the belly.
Put your hair in pigtails behind your ear, maybe if you have a cowboy hat , use that lol
I think that would be hilarious.

oh ok i understand.
YOu can be JEM. If you have anything at home that resembles the costume it would be great. Its just a pink type long shirt, wear it with fishnet stockings or something. Get the color spray for hair and do the ends pink and get star earrings.

I'm going as a cow girl. I have a denim skirt and a white button down shirt that im tying up. I just had to buy a hat and bandana- cost me $3 for my whole costume!
You can also check out thift stores- ome year I found a pink sequenced skirt and dressed that up to be an 80s rockstar- it was fun!

Re: NWR: need creative homemade halloween costume
one year in college I was a feather duster.. I wore black pants and a tank top and wrapped feather boas around my waist up to my shoulders, draped one around my shoulders and blew out my hair Farah Fawcett style... it was fun...
And cupid too.. I just wore a dark skirt, red top, cute black heels, curled my hair, and drew hearts on my face with lip liner
I had but you may have to buy: red ribbons for hair, I had white stockings with hearts on them you can draw hearts on your legs or not worry about it... wings and I spray painted a nerf gun gold.. I felt cute...
my roommate was the Trojan man- he draped sheets around him and with a chain of condoms , ivy or condoms on the head as a crown with sandals
