NWR: Need ideas for my parent's 30th anniversary

My parents will be married 30 years at the end of June this year. Does anyone have any ideas as to what we can do to surprise them or to celebrate?

surprise them with a vow renewel. I know someone on this board is doing that for their parents and i think its such a sweet idea!

My parents were married 30 years in 2004 and my brother and I threw them a surprise party. We had it at a restaurant called Elenor Rigbys in Mineola and they were completely shocked! It was one of the best nights!

We are celebrating my parents 50th! this weekend...we are taking them out to dinner and then sending them to wine camp...it's a weekend out east in the vineyards. FM me if you want the info!

FOr my parents 25th we had a surprise party. Just a simple backyard BBQ.

How we got them to go away for the day...
Their birthdays (the same day, July 26th) we gave them tickets to a Broadway show on the weekend of heir anniversary (August 7th). And we told them not to go out to dinner in the city b/c we would have dinner for them at the house b/c my aunt was in town. It was perfect b/c we knew exactly which trains they would be taking, so we knew how long we had to get everything pulled together and the guests to arrive. My Uncle even flew in from AZ! They had no idea! It was great.

We did a suprise party for my parent's 30th at my Aunt's house. They thought they were coming over for a BBQ. We also showed on a screen pictures of their lives growing up (like you see at alot of weddings) and all through their dating days, wedding and marriage. We set it to their wedding song and songs that my mom had told me were in contention for their wedding song.
