FH is a die hard mets fan... so when he heard they got KRod... he wanted the t-shirt... They only have it on mlb.com but it says it doesnt leaves the warehouse for 2-3 weeks... should i get it knowing it prob wont arrive by xmas? or just scratch the whole idea?

thats what I would do too if its something he REALLY wants.
DH had to do this too. For his friends bday he went online and bought a Favre jersey for him. Well they said it was delayed and we realized it wasnt going to come on time for his bday party, but he told his friend and he didnt mind at all and then after a few weeks it was delivered to his house. GUys dont care as much, as long as they will get it.

Yea I agree. I would get it. FH wanted to see a jazz concert and I tried to get tickets- unfortunately all they do is give you a confirmation and u dont pay until the day of. So I plan on getting him the CD for the musican and giving him a card w/ a copy of the confirmation code so he knows that I will be paying for the show!!

Okay thanks girls! I ordered it! Hes just such a little kid when it comes to seeing all his gifts under the tree... Its hysterical... oh well, xmas will be a little extended for him!

That's exactly what I was gonna suggest. He's gonna love it! And he'll prob stalk the mailman til it arrives
i agree...get it and then wrap a picture...putting it in a small box will throw him off too..he'll never suspect!

i think its great...fh is a big isles fan and i got him a jersey that was not going to be shipped untill jan a few yrs ago i took a pic of it and wrapped that up
