Re: NWR: NEVER BEEN TO THE HAMPTONS
this week might not be the best - it's before Memorial Day and nothing is really open/happening yet.
but you can prob go and walk on the beach and go to a few local spots.
which part do you want to go to?

I agree wtih JayBee
It's dead out there still. I mean you can have a nice dinner and shop but if you want to go out-out. You have to wait until after Memorial Day. Most places aren't even open yet

Re: NWR: NEVER BEEN TO THE HAMPTONS
I have no clue...I don't even know where to start...It's more for relaxation so the no crowd things is great for me, but then again if nothing is open then that might not be great...have you been? Where'd you stay?

Oh shops and restaurants will be open. I thought you meant like nightclubs.
I've never stayed out there bc I live 20 minutes away.
Good Restaurants: The Elbow Room, The Tuscan House both in Southampton I believe
TONS of shops in the Village of Southampton as well. If you book a room make sure they are beachfront. Almost all the beaches out there are private so you can't just go to the beach. Except in Hampton Bays, on Dune Rd. There is a public beach I forget the name of it though... Cupsogue maybe????
