Ok so does anyone else feel bad for NICK?? Dont ask me why but I use to love them as a couple and now that they are not together anymore...even though I dont even know the reason, I feel so bad for Nick.....LOL Sorry girls had to post this...

Well the Newlyweds is what really ruined that relationship IMO...I think they would still be married if they didn't do that show.....I think they made a choice between a happy marriage and prosperous careers and unfortuntely they chose to promote their careers and that is sad

I have to agree a bit... in that interview he really basically flat out admits that... but on the other hand, I wonder if they really knew what they were getting into. There's really no way they could have known what effect it would have on them. When you're in love and just married and glowing and happy, it never occurs to you that something might screw all that up for you.
Eh, I don't know. I wasn't there, I don't know what happens. If what he says is true then I do feel bad for him. I also think he SHOULD use this to get a little publicity. Why not? If media is what ruined his marriage, he should at least get some good out of it and use it to his own advantage.

Oh I LOVED Nick and Jessica and I refused to talk about it and I still won't watch my newlyweds DVD's cuz I get sad. I feel very bad for Nick because I think he genuinely still has feelings for her. I think and hope that they will wind up back together.

She's such a twit and no, I don't buy that it's an act, yes I believe SOME of the show was 'scripted' but if she wants the world to believe all of it was, well, she's dumber than we thought. As for Nick, well, I do pity him...and I believe him. He hasn't come out saying nasty things, he broke up with his GF b/c it was too painful and felt it looked bad and b/c you know she's going to use all that money to block him from it now.....but she's the twit who refused to sign a prenup....go thank your daddy now!! I honestly think her parents had a lot to do with it all falling apart...they were always right there in their stuff...just not healthy for any marriage.
Isn't it funny that it feels like a friend got divorced?? I actually remember reading about the split up thinking, 'whoa...what's going on?? why????'

I just got my team lachey tee last week... I feel horrible for him, but I guess theres two sides to every sttory.. I wish they would get back togther..

I feel so bad for nick! His entire interview with Rolling Stone is on their website. I really broke my heart to read! I think jessica was too young and immature when she got married and the fame turned her into a diva - so now she has this 'I don't need you, I can get anyone I want' attitude.

I think its because anyone who watched the show knows that he is sensible, human, caring, wanted kids, etc

he should have tried harder... like when she still thought he was going to go to texas with her, then he should have gone... and then when he saw her in the empty house crying... and then when they went on their trip together to italy, he should not have said your not my angel....
and they really should have talked about the cheating rumors, i mean... how can you be divorced from someone and still not be clear on whether they cheated or not?

are you kidding me? He should haver tried harder?? If you read the whole article, you will see that after she told him she wanted a divorce, he went to her parents house and brought a list of marriage counselors and she refused to think about it. The man researched marriage counselors! You know most men rarely research things that are important like that. I think he tried very hard, and put up with her crap for so long. Watching newlyweds, I would always wonder why the he!! He stayed with her all that time and put up with all her stupid crap. You say how can he not know whether she cheated? Sometimes you don't want to know. It's over, she left him. Maybe he wants to keep the memory of what they had alive because who wants to know that you were living a lie all that time. You know? A marriage only works if BOTH parties want to do the work to keep it together. If one person says they're done and don't want to try anymore, there's nothing the other person can say or do to change their mind. It's not a husband's job to convince a wife to try unless he screwed up and wanted forgiveness.

They are both stupid for getting divorced. Who the hell wants to be single. Yuck! Great marriages with wonderful people are worth working out. Jess probably got out there in the world making movies and such and thought, who else is out there for me. The answer- no one. Most men stink, when you find a good one, you can't let them go.

I know what you mean, I felt so sad for him when I read that interview. I think it has something to do with the show, I used to watch it too. You really do feel like you know them after watching that. Poor Nick
