I know this is NWR, but this board seems to get the most traffic so I hope you girls don't mind. Anyway, have any of you had good or bad experiences with certain nursing homes on Long Island or in Queens (or heard stories), and do you happen to know about what they might cost? TIA.

depending on the reason i know it can be hard to get someone into a home! We had my grandmother on the list for 3 years and we just now got her into 1!

FM if you want....I have a bit of experience with two nursing homes in Queens (my grandmother was in two) Ozanam Hall in Bayside & Dr William Benenson Nursing Home in Flushing. Benenson was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! & took excellent care of my grandmother until she died in April.. FM me if you want.
