JMO.. I was thinking of doing it as well...but I think it's soo much money. And, once you get off their food, you can gain the weight back... my sisters friend had that probelm. I am just watching my calories... 1000 or less a day... cutting everything I eat in half, I lost 8 lbs in the past week and a half just by doing that.. once I'm no longer sick I'll be walking in the morings, and joining a gym shortly.

FH tried it. The food is nasty in my opinion. The absolute worst is their idea of Hot Dogs !!!! Ive heard Jenny Craig is much better.

I looked into both JC just seems to be a lot more expensive and heard a lot of bad reviews about their customer service and councelers.....but they say the food is great!!

I can tell you that I went on it June 1st ... and in less than 3 months I lost 30 pounds... the food to me is good and you get your 3 meals a day and a snack .... you can eat as much salad and veggies as you want also !!!!! Even with me going off it at times on weekends hanging out and drinking too.. I still lost ... It is almost $300 a month ( that is why I can't continue with it because saving for the wedding!)... I have been doing it on my own now and still lost another 5 or so pounds... I drink a lot of water each day and very careful on what I eat ! I have struggled with weight for years now, but since Nutri System gave me a head start, I am still doing great !!!!!!! If you need more info , feel free to FM me !!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: nwr - nutrisystem
2 friends of ours tried it... and had an entire room full of boxes of the food. however, they fell off the bandwagon really quickly (they were going out a lot to celebrate birthdays, graduations, just going out period) and didn't love the food.
they gave us 2 to try -- pizza, and a risotto, and they are still in our pantry because i'm scared of them. oops!
i'd say weight watchers is probably better because you can learn good habits, rather than relying on (potentially nasty and overpriced) pre-packaged food

My BIL is a big guy and he started this a month ago and I just saw him this past weekend- his stomach literally disappeared. He lost 50 LBS. He was the type to try all types of diets and this is the only one that is working for him.

You should try the WW core program.....no point counting. I lost 30 lbs in 3 months and have now kept it off for 1 year. It teaches you how to eat rather than eating someone else's food.
