Re: NWR-nuva ring
love it - been on it for over a year. Had little to no side effects - the constant hormone flow agrees with my body a lot more than the surge of hormones you get with a pill.

Re: NWR-nuva ring
I have been on it for 6 months now and LOVE it ! ! I get my period like clockwork. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier then remembering to take the pill everyday.
The only side effect that I have noticed is that I get those 'pesty' infections more. I just take acidophlis every day and it helps.

Re: NWR-nuva ring
When my friend went off the nuva ring, she developed severe migranes. Her doctor told her that she could not go on the pill, due to the side effects of the nuva ring.

My best friend uses it and she was actually raving about it last night and how much she likes it.
Keeping talkin' girls, I have just about had it with my 87th pill!! They just don't agree with me. I'm always bloated too. Is this ring better than the patch??????

my Dr. told me that he will NOT perscribe the patch anymore because he has heard about to many bad things. He told me that they are finding that too much of the hormones can come out of it at once and that too much hormones might lead to the increased risk of certain cancers.
the Nuva ring on the other hand is a low dose of hormones to begin with. They are finding more and more women going on this from BCP because of the simplicity of it. Also, if you are having reactions to BCP, you might be able to get away with the ring because it is low dose hormones and it is a steady rate through out the entire month, where many pills are different levels of hormones depending on what time of the month it is.
I just had a check up appointment today and got my script renewed for another 6 months.
