Does anyone have a good recommendations? I was considering the following:
Vullo / Ketchum / Sampino Livoti
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!! I prefer a doctor with a personality & who does the exam quick!!
Thanks!!!

STAY AWAY from Dr Livoti! My sister wound up in the ICU after he botched her C section. She needed a hyterectomy to fix what he did. Huge lawsuit & she won.
This is where I go too. I see Dr. Pallotta and have no complaints.

I always loved OBGYN, although I've heard a few complaints about them. But, who doesn't get complaints?
Dr. Pallota, Dr. Mariano and another woman dr. there are all great. I saw Dr. Mariano for years, he's such a great doctor and he looks like santa claus.

I live in Babylon but I go to Dr Ilene Gewirtz in East Islip. It's easy to get to, she's right off Hescher Parkway. She's good, and I particularly like Michelle, the PA.

I'm a medical studen, and can honestly tell you that I have more respect for Dr. Vullo and Sampino than for any OB/Gyn I've ever come accross. So much so that I got over the weirdness of knowing them from school, and I use them! haha You can't do better than them

I went to Dr. Antoniatis (dont know about the spelling) at North Shore OB/GYN but they had an office further out near Islip...i liked him a lot but the schlep from queens was too much after a while so i found someone more local...their office was very nice, though, and he was very good!

I saw Ammirata once - seemed nice, very serious & professional. That office is crazy though. I felt a little overwhelmed.

okay - I've had 2 children, and I was a patient of Dr. judge, from South Bay for a few years....he's very nice when you only have to deal with South Bay once a year.
But when it came time to have my children, and deal with monthly appointments - i actually stormed out of that office and never went back - I was 5 months pregnant and looked for another doc - it was that bad.
I found by HUGE recommendation Drs Vullo, Ketcham & Sampino - I LOVE them.
Ketcham is who I usually see, and who delivered my son.
They are incredible, and I will never switch.
My son's birth was, well, a tough time for me - long story - and they were, and still are, such incredible gentlemen and 110% professional i n every way - and they feel like your friend/big brother when you talk to them.
No question. Go there.

I go to Dr. Sarah Schwartz, and she is INCREDIBLE! She used to be a doctor in the South Bay practice and branched out on her own. Her office is in West Islip. She is FABULOUS!

That is what I was wondering; is South Bay great until you have to deal with them all the time? I went there once & it was fine, no problems. I just am worried that with all the doctors, when you are pregnant, it could be a different story. Thanks to all the recommendations ladies!!
