NWR: Odd-Even gas days start tomorrow

Starting tomorrow at 5am it is an odd even day gas system. Odd day is tomorrow, even is Saturday than just follow the calendar. Vanity plates are considered odds and '0's are considered evens. Applies in both Nassau and Suffolk.

So glad they finally did this!!! I haven't been able to get gas for over a week due to 3+ hour waits!

This will definitely help the lines go down...especially the people that make the line longer by filling up 1 gallon everyday...unnecessary!

Is anyone else a little nervous about the gas situation? What is next? I agree with the statement about moving...

I hear Australia is GORGEOUS!

I am not in the states right now. My parents are though and I just wanted to know which gas stations are open? any area or companies in particular where there are more chances of getting gas? ie shell, sunoco, bp? what's going on over there sounds crazy. and i'm worried since my parents are fairly old.

It depends on where the supplier for each station is located. FH family gas station wasn't open for 5 days because the supplier was 10 feet under water. meanwhile the station across the street was opened 3 days earlier.

there was no line at hess by my job yesterday but i didnt realize they were open bc of not being a line LOL

today was same thing even with the even/ odd

i have always preferred hess, going a bit out of my way sometimes. This week and a half has really increased my loyalty as they are not even gouging.

Good to know! Also the gas buddy app and gasbuddy.com have been helpful!
