NWR-Oh it was awful

Original post by Opera_Ghost

Long story short I got alcohol poisoning Saturday night. I'm still slightly recovering. Took the day Sunday to relax, didn't go to work yesterday.. but I am back today. I ended up taking the train instead of driving cause I just don't feel like I've gotten full focus/concentration back.

I never had this happen before. It is my own fault though, I put too much liqour in my drink. Thankfully I did this at home & FH was there to help me out. He took me to the doctor the next day, paid for my visit, got me soup, took care of me.

I think the worst part is that I got all those red spots/blotches from the vomitting I was told by the doctor it's nothing to worry about and that they will go away.

I hope I start feeling better real fast.

feel better!

I learned the hard way about my limit with alcohol. I got so drunk for one birthday (taking double shots of hennesy) that I was grand central station singing dream girls at the top of my lungs. What's worse is that FH taped the whole thing and put me on youtube!! (that's love )

omg that's so funny! is the you tube video still around?!

How much you want to bet that ends up on a video screen at the wedding?

lmao...he still has it uploaded but I made him put the video as private..it was soooo embarrassing. I was sliding down the escalator, sitting on the floor, waving to people I didn't know...and to top it off I was demanding that we walk home (from manhattan to queens) until he finally threw my *** in a cab. when I got home I had to literally crawl to my bed and I had the worst hang over EVERRRRR.

sounds like an episode i had when i was studying abroad! we got really drunk one night and these irish guys we were with were nuts....they were sliding down the escalators also and giving each other piggy back rides through the streets, and eventually went crashing into a glass door. good fun...

I didn't even get to have any fun. I was ok for the first few minutes then I kinda just had a hard time walking and ended up crawling on the floor to the couch (cause I refused to let FH help me up). Then I continued to vomt (and make myself vomit) for about 3 hours.

Yep. Lots of water. And every other bottle is 1/2 gatorade & 1/2 water to get some electrolites in me.

Feel better than yesterday, but not 100% right.
