We are looking for a Product Manager
the job is in Westbury

I am going to be moving to another position with in the company and need to fill mine asap

I work in houseware- Kitchen Gadgets- the one major catch is we need someone with experince in that area?

I would love to work at either place..no kitchen gadget experience though but they salary is too low..

I develop product- so daliy I email overseas, work with design, graphics- packaging

I am respoisble for coming up with new products and bringing them to market in a timely manner

I have an assistant- he does the grunt work- setting up items, putting in requests to get products designed, packaging requests

every day is something different- it's fun- if you like tools and gadgets- every here is really nice and it's on LI

I work with a lot of big cutomers- Wal mart, Target- so we do alot of special items, for them

any shot at it without the experience? Especially if you have a fantsatic personality?

where was this job a year ago??? i'm actually 100% qualified for that job. i used to do sales and operations management for a housewares distributor. i dealt with bed bath & beyond, linens n things, federated dept stores, tj maxx, etc. i did product development, coordinted overseas with our plants in china and the philippines. i left my job last january b/c i hated my boss and didn't know what i wanted to do with my life so i took real estate classes and got licensed. now i can't imagine doing anything else but real estate. dang! and it's even near my house too! i live in east meadow!!! dang, dang, dang!!!!!
