NWR or is it? intense head painsss

i have had intense headaches that for the most part, generally start in the early evening... EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past 2-3 weeks. i went to the dr twice, and they gave me imitrex? (made me sick to my stomach), and a steroid pack for inflammation... nothing helped... now my dr gave me vicodin. (I took half bc im scared its too strong lol) and told him that it should help temp until I make an appt with a neurologist.. my fiance and my dad keep saying its bc of wedding stress but i am not stressed! I mean, I have been way more stressed months before and nothing happened to my head then... ughh I wanna cry... I dont wanna go to the neuroo . Has this happened to anyone? Do you think it is a sinus infection? the only symptom I have is severe headacheee (temples and front of my head, above eyebrows) uughh sorry for the vent ladies

I am wondering if it is a sinus infection.. I cannot deal with going and waiting at the doctors for another minute.. i am so scared that something is wrong... what headache lasts this long , everyday??? I am even scared to cry bc I dont wanna make it worse than it is... everyone says its stress but I know it cant cause a headache every single day... even on the weekends, and even when im just laying in bed relaxing and doing nothing

Are you drinking enough water or having too much caffeine? Both of those can cause crazy headaches. If you aren't sure try boosting your water intake tomorrow and see what happens. The neuro might not be a bad idea.

I have suffered a LOT from headaches in my life - migraines, sinus, tension - I notice they are all in different Tlocations.

I saw that you noted where the headaches are - sorry for not reading.

Temples and Forehead could be sinus related - does it get worse when you bend over? For me that is sure indication of a sinus infection. Do you have a neti pot? Flushing your sinuses regularly can ease up a lot of pain in the head.

My migraines are located in the the temples - luckily my migraines have stopped pretty much when I switched pills.

I hope it goes away soon, I know all too well how horrible headaches can be.

Don't be afraid, your going to stress yourself out and only make your headaches worse. You definitely need to see the neuro though, especially since this is going on 3 weeks now. To me, it does sound like sinus since your saying that you mainly feel the pain in the front. With one finger tap in your sinus area and see if that causes more pain. Sinus pain can really become intense if it's not treated. So, don't think of the worst, just go see your neuro. We're here for you!

Where are the headaches located?

I have suffered a LOT from headaches in my life - migraines, sinus, tension - I notice they are all in different locations.

my temples and front of my head (on top of my eyes) I literally sometimes feel my head pounding.. like when i touch it ...
I never ever get migraines, ever.. I dont have any allergies to anything... so I dont know where this is coming from?
I drink water but not gallons.. I will have about 4-5 cups a day... but thats how its always been and its never been a problem... I am so scared....what if its a brain tumor? the dr also gave me nasonex to spray up my nose and it hasnt helped.

I'm no doctor but trust meeeeeeeeee, I'm pretty sure if it was a brain tumor you would most likely have a few more symtoms other than just the headache. STOP MAKING YOURSELF INSANE!

my FH was on Imitrex - he was given it by his neurologist to help him when he gets a migrane.......they made him feel really weird and they switched him to Treximet.......works wonders now when he does have a migraine....

is it a migraine???? have u had a migraine before?? could just be a really bad sinus infection???? I am really not sure hun but I would def get it checked out by a neurologist......

I get sinus infections a lot and its always pain in my temples and my eyebrows---also between my cheek bone and nose. I say that this sounds like your sinuses are very inflammed.

Definitely gets worse if it goes untreated. You'll need antibiotics.

Awwwww, I just want to give you Try not to stress because it's just going to make your headaches worse.....It definitely could be sinuses, hence a reason to go to a neurologist to kind of just rule things out. I also suffer from headaches, and it's weird because I'll get a major one every Tuesday and I've narrowed it down to my birth control pills being the cause....maybe it could be a birth control issue if you are taking the pill.....just a thought....but in any case, I really hope you feel better and try to hang in there.....

I had a similar situation in January...I felt like I was taking extra strength Tylenol every few hours....

I ended up having a horrible sinus infection. I couldn't sleep and could barely make it through the day with with my 3rd graders. Even with the antibiotics it still took like a full week and a half to get better. I felt like it took way too long. I had a headache for a week straight and I def googled all the symptoms for brain tumors! Just make sure you drink LOTS of water see a doc again if it doen'st get better.

I've had sinus infections that have lasted for months (because I'm a idiot who avoids going to doctors) - it will get better with antibiotics. Nasonex takes 2 weeks to have a good effect - you should ask them to prescribe antibiotics, can't hurt...

i just wanted to send you some

I totally understand how scary it can be to go to the doctor.. but you have to. Just think about how much better you feel after you go. I am sure it is either migranes or a sinus infection but it is better you know for sure so you can sleep easy...

I suffer from migraines and take medication for them daily to prevent it and see a neuro 3 months to track them. Don't be afraid to see the neuro, I actually love mine. Definitely get it checked out, don't let it go on

i get really bad headaches too- the neurologist said its stress too, but i really dont feel stressed! they started when i was stressed with finishing school, moving and a bad break up but everything got better except the headaches!! i havent followed up recently but she gave me flexeril that made me feel better (a skeletal muscle relaxant). i had to stop taking it because it was interacting with another medication that i had to take. HTH
