Does anyone buy organic? It's so costly! I read an article one time that said you don't need to go ALL organice, but if you are of 'child rearing age' you should try going organic with milk, eggs and if possible meat. That way you are avoiding the hormones that can be in those foods. I've changed my milk to organic milk, but sometimes I wonder if its all enough?

Re: NWR: Organic?
I know I've read that you should eat organic stuff whose outsides you eat... apples, strawberries, etc.
I never heard really about organic milk... I never really thought about it. I always drink the lactose free milk, I don't think they make that organic. I switched to soy milk for awhile but its higher in sugar so I switched back.
I found that its cheaper to buy organic food from farmers markets or stands then the major supermarkets.

Re: NWR: Organic?
I have a lot of pre scoholers in my class who are on organic diets..or some organic foods..their dietary needs (wether its all organic or just some foods) depends on preference of the families.
I know a few of them buy them from seperate markets, like farmers markets casue its cheaper, but yes its costly!
