NWR-our lucky day
Ok....here is a funny story that I needed to share with everyone.....
Today FH and I went to my parents house for lunch. Before going to the house we needed to pick up cold cuts to have for sandwiches. We were on line for about 45 in the store. As we were finishing up the produce manager came up to FH and I and gave us 2lb each of mac potato and cole slaw for free because we waited so long. Each tub was about 4 bucks each. So that was about $12 of free food. We then drove over to the bakery to pick up some fresh bread. I asked for rye bread with out seeds. When she cut the bread she came over to me and said that she wasn't going to charge me because the bread had a hole in it. So that was like 2 bucks of free food. I said this must be our lucky day. After eating dinner together with my family we drove to 7-11 on our way home to get a cup of coffee and some lotto tickets. I had a total of $19 on me. The stuff that we bought came to $3 and change so that left $15 to spend on lotto. So we bought $5 worth of mega million, $5 worth of regular lotto. Then I saw a win a $2,000 win for life scratch off that was calling my name so I spent my last $5 on that ticket. While in the car I scratched it and won $50!. I took the money and ran. Then FH and I had nothing to eat in the house so we needed to go food shopping. I am a coupon freak....so between sales and coupons...we saved $48.80 on food......and to top it all off...FH worked OT today.......Oh and I forgot to mention that FH redeemed a $10 winning ticket today also from his B-day.
So needless to say we had a very lucky day today....I plan on staying up tonight to watch the lotto drawing....Hopefully the next post that you see from me will say I am in Tahti and will be back in about 6 months![]()
