ps...if u decrease caffeine it should also help shrink them...(also if you have them in ur boobies)

thats what my gyno said..so i have like zero caffeine in my diet...

cept for that iced caffe mocha from before..i was CRAVIN iced coffee...meanwhile..i never drink it..weird!

yup my Dr. asked me if I drink lots of caffeine but I already can't have caffeine because of my stomach issues, it blows!

p.s. drink LOTS of water before you go even tho they say to fast and not eat or drink anything if you dont drink water you become dehydrated and its sooooo hard to get your veins makes it hurt more so drink lots of water to plump those babies up!!

lol thanks megan I will pump up my veins! I wouldn't get blood taken w/out a butterfly needle, I'd die of pure fear. As it was they took my blood pressure and told me according to the blood pressure reading I should be dead and they made me lay down and then I think they left the room and laughed at me, and I got no juice and no cookies

sometimes the pinch could hurt more but theres no digging around looking for the vein its either there or its not ya know

I had one as well. It was when I was 17 yrs. old. It was one of the worst experiences ever. I was at work and I had this horrible stabbing feeling in my stomach. It got so bad that later on that day I couldn't even stand up straight. That night my parents took me to the ER. I was in the ER for hours. The ER physician examined me and did blood work...and could not find anything. He was asking me if I have ever had unprotected sex...and at the time I was still a virgin...he told my mom to leave the room and he asked me again without her in the room...I wanted to punch him. I was in excrutiating pain and he kept asking me the same question I said no to!!! Anyway...they admitted me and the next morning took a sonogram and saw that there was a cyst on my ovary. They gave me pain medication and told me to go for another sonogram after my next period. When I got my period that month it was sooo heavy...and not to be all graphic and gross but I was clotting reallllly badly. The doctor said it was the cyst dissolving. Luckily it did go away on it's own.

It is normal to get them...I hope everything goes well. Make sure you are prepared with extra thick pads!!

Speaking of past experiences. I was going to write the same exact thing but you wrote it for me. Last October I had the same thing happen except mine went on for days before I desided to go to the ER. But even at the ER they couldn't tell what happened. I went to the OBGYN as they requested but never went for the Sonogram because my insurance was giving me a problem with the hospital pill... but I know it was a Cyste that burst. My sister-in-law had a 27lb cyste that was removed this past June (she looked like she was 7 months pregnant and didn't understand why) Well she had one entire ovary removed and half of the other one but she is 7 month pregnant due in May so don't let them scare you so much about not getting preggo. They told her that she would have a really hard time (apparently not)....Anyway good luck and feel better

That is one giant cyst! I can't believe a gynocologist wouldn't catch that, that's scary. Thanks for the info

i have those too! each time i go to the gyno i have to have two sonograms...one on the tummy and one...um....up THERE. (it really sux to have that one done)....doc doesn't even take me to dinner first

i usually have a few small cysts at any time....and the doctor says that it's normal. he gave me birth control pills and said that can regulate the cysts and help them go away.

i had one that burst this sept. Also thought it was my appendix. It was the worst pain ever. I had gone off of the pill and but then with the cyst i had to go back on

I had one when i was 16!!! It was the size or a grapefruit. My dr. did surgury and got it out. it was inside my ovary. I was afraid she was going to have to take everything out and I wasnt going to be able to have kids. but I am fine. At first she was just going to put me on the pill bc it supposedly reduces it but my mom and i didnt want to ignor it, so I had the surgury. It was painful for me, but after a few days in the hospital i was fine! what does your doctor suggest?
