Hello Ladies! My company is sending me to the UK for a week at the end of January or beginning of February. I don't have a passport...I am taking care of everything this weekend. Any idea how long it takes before you get it? Will I probably be going at the end of Feb or beginning of March?

Do a rush. It costs more, but you'll get it faster. Regularly it takes over 2 months.

are you going to renew your passport? i remember it only took 4-5 weeks.. I believe they say it take up to 6 weeks

I'd take care of it the sooner the better!!! From what i understand it can take 2-3 months. Im sure there is a way you can rush it though.

me and FH did ours & we didnt put a rush on it or anything & it came in 2 weeks!!! we were really surprised!

DO YOU have your planet ticket already...if you go to the passport agency in manhattan you can get it the same day. All you have to do is 2 weeks to the day before your trip call up the number and they will give you an appointment and you just go there that day and it will take a few hours but this way you can guarantee you'll get it. It costs $95, ive done it twice this way

you should be fine i dont think you need to rush it because if you rush it, it will come within 3 weeks and if you do it regular it takes up to 6weeks.. i got mine around 4-5week..

I wouldn't take any chances...I would just get it expedited. I think when you do that it comes in just a couple of weeks. I believe it costs like $80 more but it will be worth it if you need it that soon.

yeah but with the way its been lately, some ppl have had to wait like 3-4 months...last year it happened to FH, he waited over 2 months and the week before our trip we had to write a letter to say we were leaving soon and luckily they fedex'ed the package the DAY before we had to leave
some get lucky and get it on time others have had alot of trouble, even on LIW there were alot of girls who waited a while

I don't even want to go. 246 Days 4 Hours 58 Minutes 27 Seconds til the wedding I don't want to spend a week in the UK, then another week in Las Vegas for a convention in April, wiith a chance of having to go back to the UK in June.

What convention in April? I'll be there in April for work!

this is what me & FH heard before we applied for ours... but really, ours came in 2 weeks!! so maybe it got better recently?!

this is what me & FH heard before we applied for ours... but really, ours came in 2 weeks!! so maybe it got better recently?!
yeah throughout this past year since the new regulations have gone into effect some do get it on time and others waited a long time...it would be great if they did get it in order now

I used to have to go to that! Too funny! The company I'm at now is a completely different industry but I'll be there the same dates as that show. I'll be meeting up with old colleagues and friends then!
