If they own or have used a chain saw, what brand was it and was it good?
For some weird reason, my FH is dying for a chainsaw. It is his birthday next week, so I thought I would get him one. I can't spend a ton of money, seeing as I have none, but there are some decently priced ones that I would be willing to get but they have mixed reviews. Please find out as soon as possible. Thanks in Advance!!!

Check at Lowes. They've always been very helpful for me.

Pardon the crasher...FH is a construction superintendent and owns just about every power tool ever put on this earth! He recommends Stihl. They are a little pricey I guess but very good quality. HTH!

I don't have to ask, I was with him when he bought ours! It's a Poulan Wild Thing - $149 at Home Depot - not a top-of-the-line one, but he says every time he uses it that it works extremely well.

Ridgid or Milwaukee or a brand that comes in a yellow package at Home Depot, can't remember the name.
