I'm thinking about sending my parents on a weekend trip to the Poconos. Any suggestions of nice places that aren't too pricey? I'd like a place that has a pool and maybe activities with meals included.

I'm not sure of the price, but my FI surprised me President's Day weekend and we stayed at Pocmont Resort. It's about 10 mintues from Shawnee Mountain.
Of course, there is always Caesars Pocono Resort. It is a little pricey, but it is spectacular!
i recommend caesars resorts. we went there for the honeymoon and loved it

I second Pocmont.. FH took me away there when we were dating. It was our first get a way trip.. loved it.

We just came back from the Poconos a about half an hour ago
I think there are two Caesars now. I am not sure if the second one is open yet. We saw a lot of bungalows that looked to be nearly complete.
My friend that lives in the area says the older Caesars (assuming the new one is not open) is wonderful. Her husband proposed to her there so I think it's known as a romantic resort

FH actually took me to the Poconos and surprised me with a proposal!!!!! That place was absolutely nice and a lot of fun. We stayed at the Caesar Resort. I definitely recommend it. It includes bed and breakfast, dinner, majority of the activities and it's very relaxing!!!!

ceasers has i think 3 different locations... fh and i have been to 2 of the three.. they are great and all inclusive

Caesars have 4 resorts in the Poconos area... we stayed at their Brookdale resort a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if I would recommend Brookdale, I think it needs major updating... the dinner was only so-so... but we had fun anyways. Maybe you can try the others?
