Thank you for the info, its very sad, but he is so ill.

(sidenote- i saw him in france at world youth day....what a memory that was! It was truly amazing- and also in NYC when he was in central park- He is such a remarkable man!)

I saw him when he came to NY too. But for some reason I think we were in a park in Queens?

It is sad. I hope he and all those who are ill are not suffering to badly.

he blessed me in 1980 when he came to visit NY. My mother was pregnanat with me and she went to JFK to see him arrive into the states. He stopped the car at my mother and blessed her as well as me

It is her favorite story to tell....she is going to be so saddened by this news
