i couldnt agree more with Marissa and CubanBride..

ALLOW IT?? Granted if thats all he thought about 24/7, only got turned onto me by porn and was spending OUR money on strippers/clubs/videos... THEN I WOULD NOT ALLOW IT!
Like someone said earlier men need to release something..'

My FH doesnt watch it - i asked him to watch with me b/c it would be fun.. b/c i watch it on occasion. No Big Deal.. Its hysterical! he thinks putting a dollar down a g-string is a waste but whatever..and that can go towards our bills.. Are u kiddign though when his friends go to strip clubs i say GO !!! Its normal!! He just wont go, and if he did every now and them - Go for it! Have Fun BABE!

I WANT hime to have strippers for his BP, i can not controll him nor would i want to. Their men ladies not dogs.

EXACTLY, lets be grown ups here. They are gonna do it anyway and I dont see anything wrong with it. I do see something wrong with controling each other to that point were you know exactly what each other does at all times and you tell each other what to do. Its just better by yourself some times and that is not a reflection on your partener its just the way it is!

I have to agree with the last few posters - WE are not our FI/DH's MOTHERS. The whole 'I don't ALLOW it' line of thinking seems a bit controlling and can only lead to problems later on. I mean, how insulting!

If you truly have a problem with your FI looking at porn then you need to discuss it with him, as well as try to understand what it is that bothers you so much. Do you believe he's going to run off with some porn star? Has he ever given you any reason to believe he might stray?

My Fi looks at porn on the computer when I'm out of town for work - it doesn't bother me in the least. He's gone to strip clubs for 'special events' (ie. friends birthdays/bachelor parties, etc) and honestly, it just makes for some great 'reclaiming my territory' sex when he gets home. And anyway, those 'boy's night out' at the strip club is more of a bonding thing than anything else. I mean, HONESTLY ladies.... do I think some stripper has ANY interest in my FI's skinny ole wallet? No.... I don't.

I think what most women forget is that MOST men are VERY visually stimulated creatures. Porn and strippers are a fantasy. We are their reality. Sometimes it's fun to use one to enhance the other (yes, weve gone to strip clubs together).
IMHO...Just because they get off watching porn doesn't mean they're going to go out and cheat.

I also had this problem and we almost ended our relationship because of it.

I think what bothered me most once I caught him was that it changed the way I thought of him. I always thought he would never...and realized I didn't know him as well as I thought I did (we were living together at the time but not engaged).

I also have a low self-esteem and thought it was a reflection of him not being interested in me. He tells me he hasn't looked at it and we've made an effort to keep the relationship exciting, although work keeps us busy every once and a while.

It definitely used to bother me, I was so mad at him, but I've learned to accept it. He's not so different after all...

well i don't allow it. plain and simple. its porn and no me, or no porn and me. he doesnt mind. even if it is a bit 'controlling' i have my reasons and for something i feel so strongly about then i will be 'controlling'. He & I dont see it that way though, we see it as a mutual agreement. I gave something up for him and he gave that up for me. People make sacrifices for one another. You can say 'he's going to do it anyway' but in the end you do not know him. I know him and I can trust him, just as he knows me and can trust me. I couldnt be more happy with it. Its really not a 'control' issue though.
