NWR: Positive vibes, please.

Ladies, there are NO words for the first day of school with my students today. In the true spirit of Murphy's Law, it all started when I got in my car to realize the seatbelt was outside the door all night and was soaking wet. Oh, I also put my commuter mug on top of the car to get in, left it there, and ran over it.

My head is throbbing, my spirits are low, and I'm finding myself truly doubting my career path. This is going to be a LONG school year. And it goes until August. Goodie.

Not asking for prayers, it's not that serious. But if you have some good vibes to spare, it'd be mighty grateful if you can send them my way. Hope my other teachers had better first days.

I had a pretty bad first day also. My train was running an hour later this morning and I got to work late for the first day with the kids. Then it was just problem after problem today. I just wanted to get home and then my train going home was late also Hoping tomorrow is a better day for the both of us.

I'll be honest, this year has been tough for me. It has been only 3 weeks, but I'm just not feeling it...I don't have the excitement or motivation like I used to I hope for all us teachers that the school year gets better! Sorry you had a bad first day!
