NWR: Priceline

Has anyone used the 'name your price' feature on Priceline?? FH and I are looking for flights to San Diego in July but flight prices are close to $500 RT per person right now. This is more than our HM flights to Mexico.........We want to try the priceline name your price feature but not sure how it works.

TIA
