Dying to do the Newlywed Cut/Color.........not so thrilled with my place in Long Island.....would love a place near my house in Bayside......Ive tried Christie and Co.......not so thrilled....but didnt think i had the right people there either. Any suggestions are appreciated!

The first chop i did after the wedding, i did it at a salon in astoria called friends. Ive used them before when ive had events and theyve done curls for me and also when i dyed my hair red went to them. I ended up going shorter but went elsewhere, not bc i didnt like how they did it the first time just that i was able to get it for free at a good salon in the city since my mom knew the person well.My friend also has a short hair cut and love how it looks, she has been going to friends for years

for color i LOVe how it came out especially since red is a difficult color, if you want to see pics of the dye job or haircut, or even hair theyve done for me for events i can show you pictures, let me know.
I use bruno, but i also see the work the other guys do(its all males who work in the salon) while im there and they all are great

R&L salon in whitestone on Utopia Parkway is awesome....I dont dye my hair but my three friends all have theirs done there and they swear by Rosa and Dalia ....(my BFF moved to NJ and still comes down to have Rosa dye her hair lol) also they are not crazy pricey

There's Z Salon on the corner of Bell Blvd and 35th Ave...haven't been to it, so I can't give you any more info
In Astoria, there's SPAce Salon...my SIL says Adele is amazing for color there. Nycki is awesome for cuts!

I get my hair done at Diffusion in Rockville center. I love them there. I know its not in Queens but it is close.

the only reason i wasnt scared was bc my hair was so fried and was looking so horrible, i couldnt wait to chop it all off...it really looked crappy hahaha

Bellas Hair Salon- on station road by the aurbandale station- shes AWESOME!!! She used to work at Christies but opened up her own place. I also did my newlywed chop- MAJORRR CHOPPPP
