I have a question which will help a co-worker deal with something she found on her son's computer...
Does anyone know how long a web address stays on the drop down menu of internet explorer?
In other words, if you drop down the arrow next to where you type in the website, you can see the history of other websites visited. Do these website addresses stay there forever or do they come off after a certain amount of time?
thanks so much!

Re: NWR: Question about internet browsers and cookies
FH is a computer geek- so i actually know this lol- anyhow, at the top of the browser- go to tools, click down to 'internet option'. When you click that a menu will pop up- on the first page general- about 2/3 of the way down is a box that says history- in it it says how many days to keep pages in history or something like that and you can change it and next to it- is clear history.. generally most people have their setting to 3 days.

O thanks so much! I just practiced that on my work computer and it will be simple to explain to my friend! (this will help her in approaching her son and figuring out something)
