I have to write a unit plan for a HS English class. How long does a unit usually last? The book is 500 pages with some difficult vocabulary so I am assuming it might take a little longer to read than some.

i teach italian ... and our units take about five to six weeks ... its hard to say ... it depends what is included in the unit. if there is more grammar it will take longer where as if there is more vocab and less grammar it will not be as long. sorry i dontk now if that helped

I am a hs English teacher and a unit depending on the length of the book can last up to 2 months depending on how in depth you go.
