NWR- Question for Teachers

I have been having problems getting my little one into Pre-K since it's all a lottery. First round she didn't get accepted and now I'm waiting for the second round responses.

I wanted a full-time school but of course that didn't work. Can someone please let me know of many hours is part time? Someone told me it's just for 2 hours and that just doesn't work for me. My other option is to put her in Private school.

part time pre school is usually 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours.

If you need full day you may want to look into day care / pre school programs.

When i taught preschool the two part time sessions were 9-11:30 and then 12:30-3, so 2 1/2 hours.

I'm pretty sure it's like that everywhere, unless you do a bigger private school.

I'm sorry I dont have an answer for you, but I find this 'lottery' system to be absolutely disgusting. And they wonder why our public school system is failing!
