NWR-Questions regarding Royal Caribbean Cruises
I am going an a RC cruise for my honeymoon and I wanted to know two things.1) Do they have seating for 2? I think we requested this but I can't remember.
2) If you did go on a RC cruise did you book your shore excursions through RC or a private company on whatever island you went to?
Thanks!!

Re: NWR-Questions regarding Royal Caribbean Cruises
I went on a cruise with Royal Carribbean, and LOVED it. We sat with another couple, but there were seating for 2. I think you have to ask for that when booking your cruise. When we got on the ship, we made the appointments for the excursions.
Where in the Carribbean are you going, and what ship??

Re: NWR-Questions regarding Royal Caribbean Cruises
We took a RC cruise to Bermuda last summer and loved it. There was an option for a 2 person table, but they were limited. We booked a shore excursion through the cruise and it was really fun. We wanted to book another one, but we waited unti the 2nd day of the and it was all filled up. So, you should try to book the excursions as soon as you know which ones you want. Where are you going?

Re: NWR-Questions regarding Royal Caribbean Cruises
We are taking a Western Car. cruise on Voayer of the Seas.I was thinking of just booking shore excursions for Grand Cayman (swimming wit the sting rays) and Ochos Rios (Dunn Falls). The other 2 islands I figured we see what available when we got on the cruise. Plus we don't want to plan all of these shore excursions and then we wake up and we just want to lay on the beach.
I will talk to my travel agent about the seating. I really don't care if we are put at a table with other honeymooners but my FH wants a table for 2.
If anyone went on any West Caribbean crusies what shore excursions are good to do?
Thanks for the advice.

Re: NWR-Questions regarding Royal Caribbean Cruises
Charlies Girl, We did the same cruise! We went in September on the Voyager of the Seas and it was awesome!! Stopped in Labadee, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Cozumel. We did the Dunns River excurstion with the Party Boat ride and it was GREAT!!
Labadee we just went on the beach
Grand Cayman we went snorkeling
and Cozumel we went to Carlos and Charlies and had a BLAST!
The boat is awesome you will have a great time, as far as dinner is concerned unfortunately we did not like the people we were seated with. But they do have an awesome Restaurant called Portofino on the boat. It is $20 per person extra but the food is amazing and you are seated alone. You have to make reservations to go there so when you get on the boat call early because the reservations fill up fast. The food, service and atmosphere where excellent.
As far as the main dining room is concerned I only saw a few 2 seater tables and I don't know who you have to know to get them!
You are going to have a great time, write back with any other questions you may have!

Re: NWR-Questions regarding Royal Caribbean Cruises
You might want to try going on there website and seeing if they have the shore excursions posted a few months before, then you can print it and then fax it in. I was on another cruise line and you were able to do this. But if you can, make sure you bring a copy of the fax and a confirmation.

Re: NWR-Questions regarding Royal Caribbean Cruises
I went on RC once before, and I'm going on a different RC cruise for my HM. Which cruise are you going on? We're doing the Southern Caribbean. Your going to have the best time, RC is a great cruise ship. I just wanted to suggest that you take the late dinner seating. This way your not rushed to get showered and ready for dinner.Welcome New Vendors
