NWR: Rainy day Question

Okay Ladies,
I was looking at Oprah's site and saw something interesting.

20 Questions to ask before you get married.

Home
Who is responsible for keeping our house and yard cared for and organized? ]

We both are responsible but since I can work from home, more of it will fall on me.

Are we different in our needs for cleanliness and organization? Is one or both of us neat? Messy? A 'pack rat?' An organizational wizard?
Im a pack rat, he's cleaner than I am

Work

How much time will each of us spend at work, and during what hours? Do we begin work early? Will we prefer to work into the evening? He works from 7am-3pm, so he helps with what Im not able to do.

If one of us doesn't want to work, under what circumstances, if any, would that be okay?

As long as one of us makes enought to support the bills and the other takes up the slack for household work then it can work.

How ambitious are you? Are we comfortable with the other's level of ambition?

We are both very comfortable with eachothers ambitions

Sex

Am I comfortable giving and receiving love, sexually? In sex, does my partner feel my love for him or her?
YES! on all accounts

Are we satisfied with the frequency of our lovemaking? How do we cope when our desire levels are unmatched? A little? A lot? For a night? A week? A month? A year? More?
He has his vises and I have my own.

Health and Food

Do we eat meals together? Which ones? Who is responsible for the food shopping? Who prepares the meals? Who cleans up afterward?

Yes we eat meals together, dinner, I am responsible for food shopping, I prepare the meals, we both clean up aftewards

Is each of us happy with the other's approach to health? Does one have habits or tendencies that concern the other (e.g., smoking, excessive dieting, poor diet)? Neither of us smoke, we both work out (me when i can)

Family

What place does the other's family play in our family life? How often do we visit or socialize together? If we have out-of-town relatives, will we ask them to visit us for extended periods? How often? For what length of time?

Family is big to us, and plays a huge part. we love socializing with friends, we are cool with out of town guests as long as they knew when to leave

If we have children, what kind of relationship do we hope our parents will have to their grandchildren? How much time will they spend together?

With his parents I hope they have the same influence on our children as they did on FH and his siblings they are a very loving family.

Children

Will we have children? If so, when? How many? How important is having children to each of us?
He wants 4 and so do I we are half way there. LOL

How will having a child change the way we live now? It changes how many nights we can go out. but FH's ,mom is the sitter so it works out!

In the months or years following the birth of our child, will we need to rethink who is responsible for housekeeping?

Of course it will be a group effort on all points.

Re: NWR: Rainy day Question

I have an answer to all of those questions, and it's very simple. We balance each other soooo well, that if something didn't work, we'd make it work. For the most part, we do everything together, including cleaning . Good question though

We pretty much are in sync all the time with the way we think & how the 'household' runs ,,,

Although the only thing he doesnt do is cook, He is lost on that part ,, Which is fine , as anyone who knows me , knows thats my forte'..

OMG- I should have added a disclaimer to this post in case any arguments should arise with these questions.
