So I am supposed to start student teaching on Tuesday, only today is Wed, less then a week away and my school still hasn't placed me. I am so aggravated. Whenever I call the school to see what is going on the woman gives me a huge attitude. Meanwhile I went to school all through the summer so that I would be eligible to student teach this semester, not to mention the scholarship I will lose if I take a semester off. I am really freaking out now and aggravated with the school. I am a 4.0 student, how hard could it be to place me?

i had the same problem when i was suppose to start student teaching sometimes the school district doesnt let the college know if they will take student teachers until the last min. if you dont hear anything by friday then i would get in contact with your school.

My sister recently had problems with this as well, the woman that was overseeing her student teaching within the school district was sooooo mean to her and she almost dropped out of the program! What school district are you doing it at?

Thats the problem, I don't know. I start Tuesday and Post hasn't placed me yet.

That is frustrating! Just call them tomorrow and Friday until they give you something. They must have something set up. It seems odd for them to leave it till the last minute.
Could you set up your own student teaching position? I know a lot of people who did it at their school districts and set it up themselves.
