NWR: really cute story about my niece i had to share
i hope you guys can follow this, cuz i realize i ramble at times... but i wanted to share how adorable this is!
so yesterday i took minnie shopping...and while in the store she saw a
picture of a girl in a
white long, cotton dress. so she said 'that is like your dress that
you wore on your wedding'...i said, yeah kinda. then we were walking
and i was like, 'i dont know what im gonna do with my dress now. its
not like i can just wear it...'
so she replied something like 'you can give it to me when im older'. i
said oh yeah, you'd wear it? she said yes. so i said, well it would
save you a lot of money....
so we kept walking...then i said, okay. if i approve of the guy, ill
give you my dress.
then we kept walking...she said, okay, but you need to find a guy for me.
i was like what? really? and she, in all of her 5-year-old logic, was
like 'yeah'
then we had to take the escalator upstairs so the conversation was
paused...and when we got upstairs she was like 'yeah, you found a good
guy. john is good...(and i really wish i remember more of what she
said, but it was like 'you did good. you found a good one.)'
so i said OK.
then to continue the conversation i was like, ya know what ill even
have john help. i said, we will put the guy through 'john's quality
control test'...and of course she doesnt know what QC means...but it
was a big-sounding word. so she looked impressed/happy/excited. it
was really funny!!
i tried so hard to keep a straight face cuz she was dead-serious. LOL
then we kept walking...and then she was like, well i need to like the boy too.
hahaha
so im like, o yeah, of course. the process starts with you. once you
decide you like him. you send him to me and john and we will put him
through the QC process and then give a thumbs up or a thumbs down
she said ok
so i guess all is right with the world
i told her i need to get this on video - the part that i need to
pick/approve the guy. she says this as she turns 6....of course at 16 it may be
different. haha. i need this on video, stat!
