NWR: Really upset ***Long Vent****
Im so upset right now.....
I just graduated from LPN school in august and I pasted my boards in NY and have a NYS license.
I live in Florida now so I have applied for a florida state license which takes about 30 days to get. Im currently waiting for my permit which will allow me to work in florida.
So I have has 3 nursing interviews all at nursing homes. I was unoffically offered the job by all 3 places(because I dont have my license yet).
The place I really wanted called me back today because I left them a message yesterday to see for sure what schedule they have avaliable because the director of nursing interviewed me and she wasnt sure what shift they had. She had me sign a piece of paper agreeing to the pay rate and everything. Well the schduling lady called me today and asked me what kind of work i was looking for. I want full time nights which is what the advertisement.
Anyways when i talked to the lady today she said my application got put at the bottom of her pile because she was out sick. So she schdeuled other interviews and they hired someone else and all she could offer me was part time 2 days a week.
