NWR: Recommend your car

A friend of mine needs a new car ASAP. And we are totally stumped as to what to look at for her. We know she doesn't want a truck/suv. Please help.

i really like my nissan sentra. its an 0, thats when they starting coming out with the new body. most nissans or maybe all of them now have something called cvt which means continually variable transmission which means you basically never hear it switch gears like when you are excelerating. i really like that about it.

i also love the altima, expecially the coupe.

my friend and i also just checked out the jetta which seemed like a very good value for what you get.

You're an a$$. It means it can make very sharp turns, lol.

Christine - I just bought a Toyota Rav4 if your friend is interested in an SUV. It's a great truck, but drives like a car, which I love. Especially since I used to drive an Acura Integra......which I also loved.

FH bought a toyota corolla years ago and its very reliable and good on gas. i will prob look at one myself when my car finally dies.

we have a Honda Accord Coupe. i love it. its a great car. its also a very safe care. FH had a 2005 Honda Accord, & we got into an accident. (slide on ice into an electrical poll) & neither of us came out with a scratch.

however, since all Accords have the same size tires, some people feel the need to steal them. it cost us $2,500 to replace two tires. so unless you have a garage or driveway to keep the car in at night you may not want to chance it.
