Can anyone recommend any good, casual restaurants in NYC? I'm looking for italian, american, or seafood places?
Thanks so much!

Angelo & Maxi's is an awesome steak house. They have a cigar bar too. They're right around 18th and Park. (still sticking to the diet - still starving)

probably no higher than 60th street. I'm trying to organize somethign for a friend who is having a baby, for a small low key baby shower. I wanted a place with good ambience and food.
Thanks!

Centrico in Tribeca is fantastic. Great food! Reasonable prices and the best Pommegranate and Passion Fruit Margaritas ever!!!! Was just there for lunch during Restaurant Week this past Thursday.

Paesano's on Mulberry. It isn't that expensive (maybe $10 for an entree) and you won't need reservations.
