Two weeks ago, I got my hair highlighted. Just half a head. My hair is naturally medium/dark brown w/some red undertones. My highlights are caramel. When I first got it done, I wasn't that crazy about it cause I thought they looked a little orange. (Even though everyone said they didn't). Anyway, now it seems to blend in and I like it. So this morning my co-worker said 'what did you do to your hair'. I said 'remember two weeks ago I got it highlighted. She said 'well it looks green.' Did you do it yourself? (When I first got it done, she said it looked great). I said 'no I did not do it myself' and I haven't been in a pool w/chlorine so maybe your eyes are going'. She's an outspoken biitch and always gives her opinion when its not asked, so I said that wise comment back to her. She's a nobody so it didn't really bother me. I just told FH, so I figured I'd also share as well.

I had a similar situation recently too. My hair was very light and my hairdresser screwed up and turned it black! My natural color is dark brown.
I was horrified. Well, I went to a color corrector and he told me to wait a few weks before I messed with it.
So when I went to work...the womne were horrible to me. With so many comments. I wanted to cry!
We can easliy say ignore them , buit how can we?
Soem peopel have no class at all!
Sorry that happened to you. Maybe she is jealous?

I've had people do that to me too. I've learned that as long as FH or myself likes the way I look, others opinoins of me don't count or matter. Don't let the Dim-Witts of the world get to you!!!! They Don't Know JACK!!!!!

awww u just have to laugh at ppls stupidity. my sis is a teacher and yesterday a female coworker slapped her azz and said 'i love your butt its so sloppy'
