NWR- Salad Spinners

NWR- Salad Spinners

Does anyone have one? Do you wash the salad in the spinner and then spin it? Or do you have to wash the salad in a colander first? I guess I'm asking if the salad spinner serves as a colander as well.

You can wash and spin at the same time. I used to have one, but it was a garbage one. So I put a good one on my registry.

I love mine! Yes, you can use the inner basket as a colander to wash the salad, then put it in the bowl and pop on the top to spin away!

I bought it on a whim one day and use it at least three times a week.

I don't even remember. It was REALLY old and a hand me down from my mom. I put the OXO one on my registry.

Good choice - that's the one I have and it's awesome.

I just realized I used the term 'awesome' for a freakin' salad spinner...time for me to start retiring that word..
