NWR: Sallie Mae horror story, need help filing a complaint

Long story short, Sallie Mae gave me grossly incorrect information and is refusing to corect the situation. I've already filed a complaint through the Better Businesa Bureau. What else can I do to light a fire under these people?

i've been having SOOOO many problems with them lately, although the worst i've had to do was to spend about three hours on the phone correcting some stuff. do u mind sharing what happened? if not, i honestly don't think there's much u can do short of legal action, u could trying e-mailing a few lawyers your story and see if you have a potential case ( i once did that (not about sallie mae)) but got some good information back.

DH and i have had nothing but problems w/ sallie mae.

I tried to reconsolidate my student loans through them, and they made a mistake when relayiing a lot of information. I may wind up paying MORE per month than I had before I reconsolidated. What irks me is that it's THEIR mistake, and after spending an hour on the phone with them, and they told me there's very little they can do to rectify it. I am beyond furious at this point.

So I'm sending them nasty letters and emails and already contacted the BBB. Twice. We'll see.
