I thought the movie was good too, covered practicaly the whole book. I usually think the book is better but on this account I too am not sure which is better. Def. a movie worth checking out.

I saw it last week, I liked it.
My daughter read the book, and said it was better.

I liked it too, but the book was definitely better. There were definitely some points that the movie left out - probably for the sake of time, because it's a movie and that's what happens - but I still felt the lack of them. And there were some things that they just changed, and I really couldn't see why they changed them.
I could say a lot more, but I don't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen it.
