ok, i can't get this out of my head so i thought sharing it might do the trick. there was a woman sitting next to me on the subway this morning. she had what looked like a new born in one of those front harness holders (know what i'm talking about?). anyhow, as the subway approached her stop she got up and grabbed the pole. the train lurched and she went chest first into the pole!!! so baby hit it first. poor thing started SCREAMING and the mother started to cry as she got off the subway. i felt soooooo bad for her. i hope everything was ok....

oooh god, that's terrible!! Unfortunately stuff like this happens all the time and you had to witness one today! ugh!!! I'm SURE everythings fine!

although i no longer live in the city, i did back when my son was born. i know what it's like to go through the city with your baby in one of those front carriers.
as a mother, if she was crying because she was obviously upset about what happened to her baby, I CAN GUARANTEE that she is a good mother and got her baby the appropriate care!!!
rest assured that if (god forbid) anything was wrong with the baby, (s)he is in good hands.
