NWR - Seafood Restaurant Recommendations

So, my mother's B-Day is tomorrow, and my father, FH and I want to take her out to dinner. We are kind of doing this last minute bc my E-Party is this weekend - so things are a bit crazy this week. Anywho - Mom loves seafood, but doesnt really have a favorite restuarant. Do any of you have any recommendations for tasty seafood restuarants anywhere on LI? And if any are on the water...an added bonus! We live in Western Suffolk - but willing to drive pretty much anywhere.

Thanks in advance Ladies!!!

Not in LI, but if you are willing to drive to the city, City Crab is delicious.

Legal Seafood is awesome. There's one by the Walt Whitman Mall and one by Roosevelt Field.

Also, the Schooner or Hudson & McCoy down on the Nautical Mile in Freeport.

I like Legal Seafood.

There are a few places by me on the water but I live in Western Nassau and it's probably too far... Places on the Nautical Mile in Freeport and in Island Park and Long Beach

There is a place in Seaford called 'Catfish Max' which is incredible. It's a small, cute little place by the water, and has the best Chillean Sea Bass. We took my dad there for his birthday.

I like Legal Seafood too, but there's also Louie's Clam Bar in Port Washington. They're on the water and and the food is delicious. My family, friends and I have been going there for a few years now and we love it.

Go to the Nautical Mile in Freeport. There are tons of delicious seafood restaurants there. Most of the fish is freshly caught and right off the boats.

Land & Sea in Mt Sinai is amazing. Its kinda like a whole in the wall place w/ a fishmarket in the front. The decor is nothing special, but the food is served in large portions and is soooo fresh and tasty
