omg...last night i was like: lalalalalala...it's going to storm..lalalalalalalala...and then in the middle of the storm, it sounded like a bomb literally went off and the entire sky turned that blue-white lightning turns it and i actually screamed! my poor daughter had to get back out of bed and watch cartoons (poor kid ))....i'd managed earlier to convince her she'd live through the storm b/c the thunder was just God bowling and that the lightning was when he got a strike...she bought that for a while...so DH says to her when he got her out of her bed, 'i guess he didn't do so well on that shot.'

but personally, i loooooooove storms.

i have to drive during it later. tonight is my 1st shabbat service in my congregation.
between people being on vaca and the storm, i hope people show up....

and my parents and grandma are supposed to be driving in from LI for it...

I am in Manhattan and its really dark out! Argh, I didn't bring my umbrella today! Hopefully it will be over by the time I leave work!

Of couse the storms will start at 5 when peole go hme, and I have a hair appointemnt! Oh yea, and I need gas for my car, so it will down pour. THIS ALWAYS happens to me when I need f'ing gas

oy! it's getting worse!!!!!!!!!!! and dh has to travel home on the LIRR and NJ Transit and the trains get messed up during storms and iw ont be home to pick him up from the train tonite

This exact thing happened last Friday. I know this because we do food shopping right after work and there was a downpour while we were in the store.

And I just looked at the satellite map, and here we are again!

Hopefully this works and you can actually see it:

Well it must be coming this way because the weather people just inturpted my General Hospital time

I hope its not that bad though...I dont like thunder...we'll see its still really sunny by me
