NWR: Sex! well maybe it is WR

I am not sure about you guys but I am exhausted, almost every night there is somewhere to run to, phone calls to make, something to wrap, cut, glue and let's not forget all the household chores blah blah blah...FH is working OT almost every night, getting home late....I feel like the whole 'getting it on' situation has been put to the back burner. We are trying to make time for each other but really there isn't any! Friday night was supposed to be our date night we were shot, ordered food bc it was pouring and got into bed at 8:30 ... we both passed out! Is anyone else going through this, is it normal?!!!!!

Yeah that is normal. We actually were so tired one night that we started fooloing around and both wound up falling asleep. LOL. Talk about exhausted!

i hear ya, its been a lot longer than I like to admit ... its always one of us passing out! We are beat, there is never a spare second for anything - between work and wedding related activites

The trick is to do it the min you both get home from work!!! Before dinner is made.. before everything else that has to be done. You can make it a quicky.. doesn't need to be this hour long event!!!

I get home before FH so I surprise him by being in naughty outfit when he gets home.. we get to it..then we've got the rest of the night to do our things!!!!!

when you have alot going on like this, then my suggestion is DON'T wait until right before bed to do it. Bc like you said, after dinner you feel blah and not in the mood and then if youre tired you're going to pass out. Plus its good to not stick to a routine and be a bit more spontaneous. Guys like when its not the typical, we're in bed and its late and about to go to bed so lets have s e x now. So next time you have date night. Do it once you get home. If you get home first then wait for him in something sexy and surprise him at the door. If he gets there first then go change and when you get home but dont go to lay down and relax bc then youll get too tired and come out of the room dressed sexy and surprise him. If you get home at the same time you can also just jump on him once you get inside. Its better this way many times, you dont wait for it and anticipate it. Then this way if you do get tired you didnt pass up an opportunity. Plus its nice to do it and THEN spend the rest of the night releaxing

DH even talked to me about this and said how he doesnt want it to always be exactly the same. Like oh ok its 12am and we're about to go to bed so lets do it. He likes spontaneity. Do it when its not expected, like him just getting home from work. And many times it ends up being even better when you do it this way.

So normal - same here for us....but we are fittin gin our time then whatever we missed, we'll make up for on the HM ..woohoo !!!

Im not trying to be the 'all knowing' about this by far!!! But I actually get annoying doing it at the end of the night b/c of all your reasons.. too tired.. too much going on.

Just want to stress that it is 'doable' (PUN DEF INTENDED )

it's important to try and stay connected..

Seriously...in the shower. or when he gets home is the best time for me!!!!

Yeah I guess I am going to have to muster up the energy and initiate maybe I can nap before he gets home lol so that I am not about to pass out as well. Oh and I love the whole shower surprise...

same here!!! FH goes to bed super early and I'm so busy staying up late doing things and we're both exhausted from work!!!

we miss our 'alone time' but cant seem to squeeze it in!!!
