Re: NWR: Share Your Dips

here's another for a Buffalo Chicken Dip that my cousin's GF makes - sooooo good and easy to make!

1/2 cup Tabasco Sauce
1/2 cup Ranch Dressing
1 stick of Cream cheese
1 large can of canned chicken

Mix the chicken and the Tabasco sauce in a bowl and heat in the microwave for 2 minutes. In a separate dish, mix the cream cheese and ranch dressing. Add the heated chicken and put in the oven at 400 degrees. Stir occasionally. It’s all ready to go once everything is melted together. Enjoy!

EDIT: and actually we don't even make it with Tabasco - we use Frank's Red Hot Sauce

Re: NWR: Share Your Dips

This is my go to fresh, fast, yummy, guacamole that doesn't involve tons of chopping.

Fresh, ripe, avocados
Salsa Fresca (Found in the bagged REFRIGERATED SALAD case, NOT JARRED SALSA -has fresh chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers etc)

Mash avocados
Add a couple of spoonfuls of the salsa (Without liquid)
Mix
Taste
Add salt, pepper, or hotsauce to taste.

Voila! I love guacomole but i hate friggin dicing everything! This is a GREAT shortcut!

1. First you get a dish/pan that is at least 1 inch deep and can be put in the microwave
2. Then you put a layer of cream cheese down on the pan [not too thick]
3. put the hormel chili on top of the cream cheese.
4. Then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
5. Throw in the microwave for 5 minutes and it's ready to go.

For the record, real buffalo chicken dip has no ranch, straight from Buffalo. Blue Cheese all the way. And marie's is def the best!

Here's Franks' recipe and my fav!

Re: NWR: Share Your Dips

This is the best!!! No ranch, it is blue cheese. Also, I don't recommend buying the canned chicken. Just grill a few chicken cutlets and either shred or put them in the food processor.

The canned gives it a different taste.

This is always a MUST at all my parties/get togethers I host.

Re: NWR: Share Your Dips

Agree! We always either grill chicken breast or sear in a pan.
And it's great in a crock pot as well!
Oops I'm still on Buffalo Chicken Dip.

Fruit dip if you're looking for something sweeter

1 foil package low fat cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla (or more to taste)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 bag Hershey's Toffee crumbles
sliced apples or other fruits to dip

Mix everything but the apples together and refrigerate until you're ready to eat it. I love this dip!
