First my electricty went out so i woke up late due to my alarm didnt go off.. . . . i get to the NHP train station and its flooded so i had to walk through knee deep water to get to the platform, a train goes flying bye and splashes me, the train i take was 30 min late . . get to Penn and the subway isnt running so i had to wait finally got a train took 25 min to go 2 stops. ..should have just walked. . . so my feet are soaked due to walking through the water im soaked to my waist and nothing else could go wrong RIGHT nope WRONG. . get to my building and its flooded so i had to take an elevator to the 3rd floor walk across to the corporate office go all the way up walk across to my building and walk down 10 flights of stairs . . . . so now im wet and cold cause the air is on full force. . . . so my co-worker gives me a blanket so i could take my pants off so now im sitting here in a blanket ARGHHHH should have stayed home.

Ugh!! What a day! Well, you made it, so just try to warm up and have a nice cup of coffee. I am sure nothing else could go wrong today!!

In all honesty, I would've stayed home. I thought about it this morning too.

oh wow! They better appreciate what you had to go though to get to work.
You are probably one of the few people that can say they sat at their desk with a blanket and no pants on.... .

hahaha well i cant get coffee cause the break room is flooded and they arent letting anyone leave the bulding now because the stairwells are flooded Ahhhhh

Commute from hell today. No express bus, no LIRR because Bayside station was flooded. Had to take the 7 train from Flushing (YUKKKKK). No bosses in today, I spoke with them and advised them I am leaving early tonight. Great bosses that I have said no problem !

I contemplated taking the 7 train to work today after waiting like 15 minutes for the LIRR and trying to listen to the stupid announcements that are never audible!
Horrible, horrible commute day!

I swear if anything else happens im leaving. . . they just came in and asked if any water is coming in my office. . if water starts to fall from my ceiling im leaving. .

We all had the same type of morning. I left my house @7:26 AM and I just got into my office @10:35......Three hours for a 40 minute ride and they want to raise the fare again
