Re: NWR: Slow cooker? Which is best?
I have always wanted one, and I didn't register for one amazingly..since I love to cook lol
I would put a farberware, or any top name , cuisinart. I have heard that the JcPenney line 'Cooks' is pretty good. I would personally pick out the largest size lol only b/c I like to make al ot of food for leftovers.....I am cursed by my mothers habits!

I have a Cooks 6.5 qt slow cooker. i love it. When you get one though make sure it has a removable insert. It makes it lot easier to clean.

I LOVE MY CROCKPOT!!!!
it's the SmartPot Crockpot (stoneware)...not positive on that actual size..but probably the biggest one they sell! i love this one because there's both low & high settings(most these days have it) - but the time adjustments are in 30min. increments(instead of hour) which gives more accurate cooking times...and there's an auto setting that automatically sets it to 'warm' when it's done...that way if it's done at 5 but i'm not home till 7, dinner is still fresh but anyways - love it! easy to clean since the crock comes out(although it is heavy lol), and NOTHING sticks to it...it's even dishwasher safe because it's stoneware...i heart it lol.
here's a pic.. just used it the other night!

Yes, that is actually a great one. You deff want to get one that has the 1/2 hour incriments on it. And the Warmer option!
Taryn knows what she is talking about lol

u are too funny...but it's true! those little things make a big difference! i also edited my above post to add that my crock insert is dishwasher safe because it's stoneware..that really comes in handy too!

ohhh that is awesome. I would say that the Crockpot one is the best then. It has all the features you would want in a crockpot. Easy cleanup, easy settings, dishwasher safe insert. That is awesome.
Did you put that on your registry taryn?
