NWR: Smartboard question

I'm using the smartboard program and need to know how to make the text only appear with the use of the eraser. How do you do that???

I've seen this done before, I just don't know how to do it!

I'm doing a Main Idea and Details lesson on smartboard for my tutoring group at work. I have the definition of Main Idea and Details and want to make the definitions hidden. Then take the eraser and slide it over the definitions to make them appear.
I have no clue how to do this! If you can help me figure it out, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

honestly, I had no idea you could do that!!!!!! that sounds so cool!! Since I can't help with the eraser thing how about this:

Go to the gallery section tab (it looks like a picture frame)

From there, type in 'hidden words', or something like that, in the search bar.

Look for the flash/multimedia applications.

There's one that flips over to reveal whatever answer/question/phrase you want it to. Its a blue bar and it might be titled 'question flipper'

I hope this helps. I wish I were in my classroom right now so I can give you better details of what I'm talking about.

Thanks! I found that, now I have to figure out why my program still says I never downloaded flash player, when I did!

**I fixed this! I had to update notebook!**

Use the 'pen' option and customize a pen color to match exactly the background that the writing you want to 'reveal' is on. Draw over the words you want to reveal with the pen.

Then when it comes time to do the lesson - you simply pick up the eraser and erase over it and the pen matching the background disappears.

I use it all the time - any other wuestions FM me!
