NWR: So bummed

FH and I were supposed to be moving in together Dec. 1st. We got an amazing deal on renting a house from a friend of his mom's who had said we could rent as long as we needed to. Everything was great, we started picking out furniture and stuff... until yesterday when she had 2nd thoughts and decided she didn't want to rent anymore. (She moved upstate but now is thinking she wants to move back here.)

Soooo that means we have 3 weeks to find an apartment. We looked at one yesterday that was in a nice area, but had a burned down gas station next door and a view of a cemetery from the kitchen window.

Between that, MAJOR dramarama at work and looking at all the $$$ on my budget list, all I want to do is .

/whine over.

ugh - that's a bummer. I hope you find a place - and ***** that work is going on at the same time - always makes it harder when you are trying to juggle more than one hard thing! seems like a legit reason to whine ;)

OH no that's terrible. I'm sorry, if I hear of anything I will let you know.

That really stinks! Actually, there's a cemetary down the block from our house too and you can see it out of one of the kitchen windows but it doesn't bother me too much. Good luck in your search!

The cemetery didn't bother me too much, but it was literally like right in the backyard. FH is the biggest chicken ever though and he said that it could have been the nicest apt and he still couldn't live there.

Thanks girls... we've looked at three so far and haven't been wowed by anything... we just got spoiled by thinking we would have had a whole house for $1500!

We're both off on Tuesday so we made a bunch of appointments from ones we saw on craigslist and MLS, hopefully we find something!

Oh and if anyone has any friends looking to share a house you can take my old room and help my sister out.
