NWR: So embarassed right now...

I just got back from the orthodontist and I had to get rubber bands (the elastics) put on my braces. My braces are not that noticable because they are clear and now I have these ugly rubber elastics right in the FRONT of my mouth. They aren't even off to the side! FH just started laughing at me and I told him to shut up. I don't know what to do at work tomorrow. I don't think I should wear them to work. Maybe just at every other second of the day. UGH

Awww I'm sorry that scks. I had braces and they were horrible. At least you have clear ones.

Just concentrate on the end result-- you'll have a beautiful smile soon enough!

i'm sorry. i remember when i had rubberbands on my braces. they were awful. if it was me, i wouldn't wear them to work, but that;s just me

I like that idea! And thanks for the support ladies lol. That's what my mom keeps telling me...just think of the end result and how nice your teeth will look in your wedding pictures lol

i like the shooting them at fh when he's laughing...but seriously make sure you wear them or the end result wont be as perfect as it can be...i was embarassed about my braces so i didnt listen to the orthodontist and my bottom teeth are still a little messed up cuz i was just being silly...and any one at work who makes you feel that you shouldnt wear them is an @ss and not worth your time...you still have a loving FH at home who is still with you regardless of your rubberbands

I remember when I had those rubber bands put in, I REFUSED to wear them, I put them in when I went to bed, i'm sorry that was just too much...everytime you open your mouth it's so obvious!
